Poem # 10

Another chilly, misty start to the day – but at least it’s not raining. Always the prospect of a sunny day ahead though.

March is muffled this morning

Ground-clouded and clothed in fog.

Cars slowly grope along the loaded roads,

Where drivers appear red-faced

From the tail-lights of those cars in front.

Airports are silent apart from the drumming of fingers.

Aircraft remain on the ground

And only the flight times are up in the air.
